How to make
“Stoneage” textured vase?
All our interior have the same tutorial! The textured interior is old glass-pieces covered in modeling paste.
After a few layers with a sponge, you get the perfect stone-looking home decor! This is how you make a visual texture interior design vase:

Step 1
Cut a piece of paper to fit the surface of your interior object. Then, carefully brush around the edges with modeling paste to adhere the paper to the object. Cover all sides of the object with paper.
TIP: if you have an object with a challenging shape, tear the paper into smaller pieces to ensure the object is well-covered.
Step 2
After covering the entire/larger parts of the object, you can take a sponge and very gently dab on the paper with modeling paste to create a textured look. Let this dry so the surface becomes stable enough to build upon.

Step 3
When the modeling paste has dried and hardened, you are free to build as many layers as you want to achieve the desired result!
We used three layers of modeling paste on this project.
Finished!
If you have an object that is not made of glass, it’s possible to simply dab modeling paste directly onto the object with a sponge after a coat of paint, as we’ve done with the candle holder in the picture.
We would love to see YOUR finished products! Feel free to share a picture and your thoughts on this tutorial below.
